Garraf: white rock and vines

Garraf is the park nobody plans for and everybody remembers: chalky rock twisted into shapes that read more desert than Mediterranean, dropping towards a small cove and a village of white houses.

The hermits' trail

A loop past small medieval chapels built into folds of the rock, signed from the park information point and passable in a couple of hours at an easy pace.

Garraf village and cove

A cluster of white modernista summer houses above a shingle beach, two minutes on foot from the station. It works as a lunch stop that feels nothing like Barcelona.

La Morella

The park's high point at 593 metres, with a short but exposed pull up from the Coll de la Creu d'Aragall road and a full view along the coastline towards Sitges.
